Is there a list of all the ways I can earn points?

How long does it take for points to show up in my account?

Most social activity will show within 24-48 hours but can take up to a week in some cases.

Do I get points for connecting my socials?

You get points for following the brand on all of their social media platforms, but not for connecting your personal social accounts.  Connecting is the enabler to start earning points.  You can keep earning (with no overall limit!) by liking, commenting, sharing all of the posts on each of those platforms. By following the WebSpot rewards page when you join you will get bonus points to get you rolling.

If my IG account is private, will I still get points

Having a private IG account will not impact your ability to earn points, with the one exception of reposts.  Likes, comments, mentions, follows and other activity all qualify

Are there limits to how many points I can earn?

There are no “limits” to overall point earning, but the program has restrictions to ensure only genuine positive engagement is rewarded.  You can only earn 1x for each activity on each post.  For example, if you comment 5 times on a post you will only receive points 1x.  The same is true if you accidentally unlike/relike something – you will only receive points 1x per post.  To ensure high quality for UGC you only get points for 1 post per week.  On all activities there is maximum of two week “look back” period (i.e., you will only be eligible for points for qualifying activities over the immediately prior 14 day period).

Do I have a set timeframe to earn points?

You can only earn points for engaging on content within the last two weeks, so make sure to actively monitor the brands social accounts so you don’t miss your chance to earn! You can always visit the brands “activity feed” tab on their WebSpot page to see all of their content in a single feed in chronological order to make sure you don’t miss anything!

I just did a bunch of things to earn points, so why am I not seeing them in my accounts?

Most social activity will show within 24-48 hours but can take up to a week in some cases for points  earned from approved activities to appear in your account.  You will also need all of the standard permissions options checked / approved when connected your accounts to receive points (more below).  If you removed permissions when originally authorizing, please disconnect and reconnect and allow for all permissions.

Why do you need the access/permissions for social accounts?

We need to be able to have the permissions listed (standard list from the platform themselves) to validate activity and give you credit/points for your engagement. Our system does not change, tamper, or post on your behalf.

What can points buy me?

How much are points worth?

Point values vary by rewards program and are set by the brand.

Do my points work across all brands on WebSpot?
